ESP offers optional full-day services for certain days FCPS is not in session, including fall break, winter break and spring break. These full-day camps will be offered at limited locations. Check the email associated with your ProCare account for sign-ups.
There will be an additional cost for full-day sessions (records, conference, etc.) if you choose to attend. Fees include breakfast, snacks, and costs associated with field trip transportation and admission. Parents will receive information on each full-day program and camp in advance of the full day via email and must sign up before the deadline to attend. After the deadline, refunds will not be given due to the planning of potential field trips, programming and staffing.
Send your full-day registration form to ESPregistration@lexingtonky.gov, and you will receive a confirmation email once it has been received.
Full days are only available to currently enrolled students.
Full day calendar – 2023-24 school year
- Aug. 25 | No classes for students
- Oct. 2 – 6 | Fall break
- Nov. 7 | Election day
- Dec. 20 – 22, Jan. 2 & 3 | Winter break
- March 15 | Possible weather make-up day, TBD
- April 1 – 5 | Spring break
- May 14 | Election primaries
What should my student/camper bring each day to camp?
We request that campers bring the following with them each day:
- Comfortable shoes for running outside and in the gym
- Water bottle
- Lunch – required
- Additional snacks in case they wish to have options
- Appropriate coat/jacket in cooler seasons
We are unable to provide a cooler for camper lunches or access to a microwave. On field trip days, we request lunches are packed in throwaway bags.
If your student/camper requires medication but is coming from another school (ex: Stonewall to Garrett Morgan), either communicate with the director so we can transport the medication or if you have extra for that day, please bring it in the original container.
