Holiday lights not shining so bright? Don’t throw them out. Bring them to a convenient location to be recycled.
Changes to City waste collection Thanksgiving week
There will be no City yard waste collection during the week of Thanksgiving. There will be no City waste collection on Thursday, Nov. 28 or Friday, Nov. 29 due to the holiday.
Participate in Waste Reduction Week
Tis the season for holiday related parties, decorating and gifting - which typically means more waste. To help counter that trend, Lexington will celebrate Waste Reduction Week November 11-15.
