Art on the Town

Join local artists for a new holiday market at Tandy Park!

Meet and shop with artists and craftspeople and their one-of-a-kind paintings, wood turnings, jewelry, fiber art, holiday décor, sculptures, garden art, as well as prints, notecards, and other unique gift items.  Free art-making will be available for all ages and will include making snow globes, ornaments, holiday cards, gift tags, and more!  

Enjoy holiday treats and drinks from Olive's Apron, Wild Lab Bakery, Beans and Brews, Leestown Coffee House, Funky Rooster Coffee, and The Flying Waffle

Live holiday music presented by Warren Byrom and Chris Sullivan, Bryan Station Performing Arts Ensembles, and more!

Art on the Town, a new program of the City of Lexington, provides free mobile art carts for eligible local artists to sell, demonstrate, or display their artwork in downtown Lexington.

Artists participate in ongoing downtown events such as Thursday Night Live, Farmer’s Market, monthly Art on the Town at Tandy Park events, and at a variety of downtown festivals and events.

Interested artists should review the program eligibility and guidelines, then fill out and submit the application.
