Carlisle Avenue Homicide Investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred overnight on Carlisle Avenue.

On Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 1:38 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Carlisle Avenue for shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.  

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s name.

Detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information about this case to call Lexington Police at (859) 258-3600.
