Variances/Conditional Uses

Variances and conditional uses require approval from the Board of Adjustment.

To start this process, bring your request to the Division of Building Inspection during working hours at 101 E. Vine St., Suite 210.

At that time your request will be reviewed and an official written refusal issued.

This refusal becomes your application to start the process with the Division of Planning located in the same building. When you present the refusal, the Planning staff will instruct you on the necessary criteria for preparing your case before the Board of Adjustment.
