Where does your LEXserv payment go?

Your LEXserv bill covers the fees for three city services:  sanitary sewers, landfills and water quality.

Disconnection

If your LEXserv account is about to be disconnected or your water has been shut off due to a delinquent LEXserv account, you can pay by phone, online or in person at the Government Center at 218 E. Main St.

Payment in full is required to restore water service or to avoid possible service disruption.

Kentucky sales tax exemption

Effective Jan. 1, 2023, Kentucky law requires sales tax to be charged for residential utility services furnished to any location that is not a customer’s place of domicile (primary residence).
