Join Outdoor Programs staff in collaboration with Coach Blake of LEF Climbing to explore the vertical world of rock climbing with the boulder features at Northeastern Park. Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that does not include the use of a rope or harness. This session is open to participants 13 and up.

The safety equipment used in this program is crash pads, which are designed to provide more cushion than the ground when climbers fall or finish their climb. A limited number of climbing shoes are available for participants to wear, but climbers may choose to wear their own closed-toed shoes if they wish.

Bring water and snacks for your personal comfort, and dress for the weather in activewear. The program will be canceled in the event of rain and/or thunderstorms. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
